They handed over the trailer and put it into operation on 30th September in the area in front of the Kutná Hora headquarters of Foxconn, which contributed CZK 70,000 to the purchase. "We appreciate the work of all rescue services, professional and volunteer firefighters. I am glad that we found the necessary funds for this beneficial project," said Pavel Kožený, PR and Communication Manager at Foxconn.
Malín firefighters requested the trailer within the X-DAY project, the Foxconn grant call. "I'm glad we went back. We gained not only money, but also during the recent tornado in Moravia, the trust of the locals, whom we helped with the transport of donated material, which was really needed in Hodonín at the time," added Milan Navrátil from the fire department and praised the ongoing cooperation.
New applicants can apply for grants until 15th October. In the new year, Foxconn will distribute 460,000 crowns. The new category will open up space for young pupils and students in primary, secondary and higher education, whose financial resources prevent them from realizing their needs and dreams.
