Information for Contractors

Information on the processing of personal data for contractual partners:

Personal data administrator: Foxconn group companies with which you have entered into a contractual relationship, or with whom you are negotiating (the list is below).

Purposes of processing

Keeping a tender for suppliers of goods or services and records of this procedure, concluding and fulfilling a contract between you and the administrator, fulfilling legal rights and obligations arising from the legal relationship between you and the administrator or related to it (tax obligations, archiving obligations etc.), protection of property, life, health of persons and interests of the administrator.

Categories of concerned personal data

Identification, address and contact data, financial and invoicing data, data concerning employment, form and location data (in case of a visit of our premises which are guarded by a camera system – this is not the processing of special category data)

Legal basis of processing

a) fulfilment of a legal obligation,
b) fulfilment of a contract,
c) legitimate interest of the administrator consisting mainly in the protection of property, life, health of persons and interests of the administrator

Recipients, i.e. categories of data recipients

Public administration bodies (Tax Office, Labor Office, etc.), bodies active in criminal proceedings (courts, Police of the Czech Republic, etc.), contractual partners (if the transfer of personal data is necessary for the performance of the contract), external service providers such as processors of personal data and other entities according to valid legal regulations. 

Period of storage of personal data: for the time strictly necessary:
a) for the duration of the tender and the contractual relationship and subsequently for the period set by the valid legal regulations, b) for the time necessary to fulfil the legitimate interest of the controller
Information on the processing of personal data is available at the registered offices of Foxconn Group companies (Human Resources, Compliance Department).

Rights of the data subject

In connection with the processing of personal data, the data subject has the following rights:

  • access to his personal data: the data subject has the right to access its personal data and also has the right to be informed whether the personal data are being processed, to what extent, for what purpose, for how long, etc.,

  • request the correction of inaccurate personal data,

  • request the deletion of personal data,

  • request a restriction on the processing of personal data, if: a) the data subject denies the accuracy of the personal data, b) the processing is unlawful and the data subject does not request the deletion of the personal data but the restriction of the processing, c) the controller no longer needs personal data, but the data subject needs them to determine, enforce or defend legal claims, d) the data subject objects to the processing,

  • object to the processing of personal data

  • request the transmission of personal data, if a) the processing is based on the consent of the data subject or the performance of the contract  b) the processing is automated, the personal data subject has the right to obtain his personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format,

  • withdraw consent to the processing of personal data,

  • file a consent for the processing of personal data with the Office for Personal Data Protection (established at Lt.Col. Sochora 727/27, 170 00 Praha 7 – Holešovice).

In general, you and the personal data subject have the right not to provide us with personal data. In some cases, the provision of personal data may be a contractual requirement – if personal data were not provided in such a case, the conclusion of the contract or its performance cannot be expected. If the need for the processing of personal data arises from the law, the consequences of not providing this personal data are governed by law.

We process personal data automatically or manually. There is no automated decision-making (i.e. decision-making based exclusively on automated processing of personal data or their profiling in our country.

In case of any suggestions or questions or for the purpose of exercising the rights of the data subject in connection with the processing of personal data (including complaints), you and the data subject may contact our Compliance Department:
