The very popular sports event will take place this year from Saturday, August 3 to Sunday, August 11. The signing of the partnership took place symbolically on the day of the 50th anniversary of Hon Hai Precision Industry or Foxconn.

The Sports Park Pardubice is a continuation of the very successful Olympic Park Pardubice event from 2016, which was attended by over 350,000 visitors over 17 days. The new sponsorship agreement builds on years of cooperation and was signed for the 2024, 2025 and 2026 editions.

"We want to further develop our long-term cooperation, which has been going on since 2016, and once again support this unique sporting event in our city. That is why we have decided to become its general partner for the second year in a row. The organisers will thus gain the security of a stable partner, which Foxconn Czech Republic undoubtedly is," said Nicky Monaghan, Vice President and Executive Director of the company.

Visitors can also look forward to the Foxconn competition and relaxation zone, as well as the fourth year of the successful charity race Foxconn Run. The company's employees will also enjoy a number of benefits on site, such as a free playing card or the opportunity to use the company zone.

The signing of the partnership took place symbolically on February 20, as it was on this date 50 years ago that Terry Gou founded Hon Hai Precision Industry (or Foxconn) in Taiwan. Since then, he has built up offices on almost every continent in the world. The company has grown to become the world's largest electronics manufacturer and the world's leading provider of scientific and technological solutions, with nearly one million employees worldwide. It owns more than 54,000 patents.

"I am convinced that we need to emphasise a healthy and active lifestyle. And as a good neighbour and the largest commercial employer in the region, we simply cannot be absent from this event," concluded Nicky Monaghan.
