In the second half of May Foxconn Czech Republic had the honour to welcome an important visitor to its Kutná Hora plant – Mr. Young Liu, Chairman and CEO of Foxconn, who visited the Czech campus as part of his European tour.
On this occasion, he met with leading representatives of Foxconn Czech Republic – Nicky Monaghan, Allan Keown, John Gallagher, and other representatives from the management. The purpose of the meeting was a closer introduction of Foxconn Czech Republic and its three production groups, a presentation of important activities and projects, as well as a reminder of the many achievements of the company during its 24-year presence in the Czech Republic.
An important part of the visit was also a line tour of the Kutná Hora production facilities, during which Mr. Liu visited, among other things, the new hall where the unique production of the new generation of liquid-cooled supercomputers, the first of its kind in Europe, takes place.
Mr. Liu then presented to the management team his vision and key priorities that will determine the future direction of Foxconn.
Mr. Liu's visit underscores the importance of Foxconn Czech Republic within Foxconn's global operations. It was a mutually very inspiring and beneficial meeting.
