This year was the sixth year of this charity competition. The grand finale was preceded by a month-long application call and project collection via the company's website at www.foxconn.cz, which yielded a total of 77 applicants. From the applications received, a jury of company employees then selected 22 finalists, who were invited to make final presentations to a panel of judges comprising celebrities from both regions.
The final rounds of the competition were held on the first weekend in November at the Primary School and Practical School SVÍTÁNÍ in Pardubice and in the baroque refectory of the Central Bohemian Region Gallery - GASK in Kutná Hora. This year, there were also projects from the X-DAY Junior category, i.e. student projects.
This year's edition also brought many interesting projects aimed at helping, developing and sustaining the wider society in many areas. I am very pleased that our colleagues, the public and organisations are active in helping others. Beautiful projects, personal commitment, enthusiasm and emotion. For all this, this year's event had an unforgettable atmosphere for me.
