The spring months have been marked by Foxconn’s continued support for education, schools, and students. Initiatives included backing a brand-new study laboratory in Kutná Hora and sponsoring student challenges such as CuteBot 2026. These efforts reflect our philosophy of being a good neighbour in our local communities and actively supporting technical education.

Following our participation in competitions like Foxconn Cup and T-Profi, we expanded our engagement in late April with the CuteBot robotics competition. Hosted at the workshops of the Kutná Hora Technical High School, students tackled challenges using provided CuteBot and micro:bit sets. Their task was to autonomously program robots to complete line tracking and navigate a maze in the fastest possible time.

Foxconn also extended support to students of the Secondary Vocational School of Crafts in Kutná Hora with the opening of the Foxconn Lab—a state-of-the-art photovoltaic training facility. Here, students across all study years and technical programmes gain practical experience measuring and wiring solar panel installations at various angles and tilts.

This marks the fourth specialised classroom bearing the Foxconn name, joining Foxconn Labs at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics of the University of Pardubice, SPŠE and VOŠ Pardubice, and VOŠ, SPŠ and JŠ Kutná Hora.

At Foxconn, we believe investing in education is an investment in our shared future. That is also why we welcomed nearly 50 secondary school interns in May, offering them hands-on industry experience and a closer look at daily operations within a leading technology enterprise.
