Being a good employer should be a certain goal for every company. The award ceremony took place on 14th September in the Marble Hall of the Karlova Koruna Castle in Chlumec nad Cidlinou. "We appreciate the award very much. It is a commitment for us for another good job, " said Pavel Kožený, PR and Communication Manager of Foxconn Czech Republic and Michal Batelka, HR director continued: " On this occasion, it is appropriate to thank all of you, colleagues who work in our company and do very good work."

The Employer of the Year

The Employer of the Year evaluation has been focusing on companies in the Czech Republic from the point of view of human resources for 18 years. Its purpose is to bring to the public examples of companies with excellent attitude towards their employees, not only nationwide, but also in individual regions. In addition to economic indicators, the value of a company is also determined by its approach to its employees. Corporate culture creates the level of business environment and mood in society. Companies that pass the evaluation have several features in common, such as investing more in the training and development of employees who have more room for career growth.

The evaluation is performed by the globally recognized Saratoga methodology from PwC. The employer of the year with more than 5,000 employees appreciates large companies that, despite their size, are able to maintain a pleasant working environment and provide their employees with the best possible conditions for their work. The main players in the Czech economy compete in this elite category.

Kutná Hora Region Award

In September, Foxconn received another award from the Central Bohemian Region Governor Petra Pecková, the Kutná Hora Region Award. Representatives of the Central Bohemian Region and the City of Kutná Hora praised Foxconn for its long-term responsible behavior towards the region and non-profit organizations.
