We were very pleased to welcome a distinguished guest for the first time a few days ago—Mr James Wu, Spokesperson and Head of our Central PR and Communications Team in Taiwan. His four-day stay in the Czech Republic was very intensive and varied.
He first visited Kutná Hora, where he met with John Gallagher, Vice-president and Executive Director of F Group. He also had the opportunity to explore the architectural treasures of this historic city with a professional guide. In the evening, he attended our Christmas Party at the Lorec Cultural Centre, where a rich programme, refreshments and drinks were prepared for all our colleagues.
He then moved on to Pardubice, where local landmarks were presented to him by Radka Svobodová, Manager of Compliance, PR and Communications. The Sunday programme also included a visit to the SFÉRA Education Centre located in the Automatic Mills complex, where various interactive programmes, workshops and laboratories for children and adults were introduced. The highlight of the visit was his appearance on stage during the Charity Day with Foxconn, which is traditionally part of the event “Advent with the Scent of Gingerbread.” Both Foxconn representatives had the opportunity to greet visitors at Pernštýnské Square and wish them a Merry Christmas and much success in 2026. The final day of his stay was dedicated to a tour of the Pardubice site, including a meeting with Allan Keown, Vice-president and Executive Director of G Group, and many other colleagues.
The Christmas atmosphere surrounding our colleague truly delighted him, and he left with the resolution that this was definitely not his last visit to the Czech Republic.
We therefore look forward to our next meeting!
