Foxconn as a General Partner for the Next Three Years

Preparations can take place this year thanks to a contract with a strong partner, Foxconn. "We want to further strengthen our long-term cooperation, which has lasted since 2016, and thus support this unique event in our city. The organizers will gain the certainty in the form of a stable general partner, Foxconn Czech Republic," said Nicky Monaghan, Vice President of the company, adding: "At this time, it is more than ever necessary to think about a healthy and active lifestyle. As a good neighbour and the largest employer in the region, we simply cannot miss this event!" The sponsorship agreement was signed for the years 2021, 2022, 2023 and Foxconn will be in the position of general partner of the event. Visitors will also be able to visit the Foxconn zone, which will be not only a competition zone, but also a relaxation zone. At the same time, the second year of the successful charity race called Foxconn Run will take place. Foxconn employees have a number of benefits, such as a free playing card or the opportunity to use the corporate zone. However, they can look forward to much more.

More News in the Park

The organizers will use the entire area of the park Na Špici, including a new workout playground.  The event will be opened on 7th August by one of the two general partners, Šlužby města Pardubic, with a program full of fun and information called Experience the City. A day later, gladiators will run through the park. The final weekend will belong to the popular run. "This year, the sports park will be reunited with the Pardubice castle, where there will be one of the fixed sports stations. In addition to sports, lectures and workshops could be moved to the beautifully renovated castle, "said the Project Manager Pavel Stara.

A novelty of this year will be scooter races and also a presentation of the fire sport. "Firefighters will be in the park for the entire duration of the event, as Pardubice will become the venue for the Czech Republic’s firefighting championships next year. Children will enjoy the exhibited fire truck and also the daily exhibitions presented by professional and volunteer firefighters," added Pavel Stara.
